Curate That!

Directly promote sound recordings and songs on an ongoing basis with Tempo!

Record labels and music publishers can directly promote their catalog to their licensees and potential licensees on Tempo by submitting playlists they create to Crunch Digital.  There is no charge to submit as many playlists as you want.

With Tempo, any licensee that uses Tempo can validate using the platform whether the tracks on a playlist are available for use under the licenses that they have with record labels and music publishers. The intent of Tempo and the Curate That! feature is for licensees to check out playlists that have already been created and validated to ensure that those tracks are available for a user to use under their existing licenses.

It’s really easy to provide a playlist.  All you need to do is make your playlists available on a music service (like Spotify) and share the playlist link with us. It will be up to the team at Crunch to decide which playlists will be shown or featured on Tempo.

By submitting playlists you will expose selected catalog titles to be considered by your licensees to use in their service or product.  This could also help increase your revenue with a licensee if more of your catalog is used by them.

By submitting playlists you will also expose selected catalog titles in your playlists to potential licensees for them to consider for their service or product.  Tempo will indicate when a sound recording or song is not licensed by a user and direct them to a record label or music publisher for a license request.

Any licensee of a record label or music publisher can subscribe to Tempo, whether or not they use Crunch Digital for other services.

Next Step: Start The Process To Submit Playlists

Playlists are added from a music service like Spotify.  Then a user selects a playlist to see what is available for their use.

Playlists that are validated by a user show the tracks that are Available and Not Available under the existing licenses of that user.

Interested companies can request to submit their playlists here.
