Crunch Digital PDX Service To Provide Data Management and Payment Services

Los Angeles, California (July 6, 2011) – Crunch Digital™ today announced that BMG Chrysalis has selected Crunch’s PDX Service™ to utilize its data management services for selected cloud and Internet streaming music services. BMG Chrysalis’ catalog features over 300,000 songs including titles from Chrysalis Group, Cherry Lane Music Publishing, Crosstown Songs, Stage Three Music and Evergreen Copyrights.

As rightsholders prepare to meet challenges with data exchange and royalty collection for licensed music services, Crunch Digital’s PDX Service consolidates the data flow for music content, usage reporting and payments to music publishers.

“Crunch Digital brings an innovative approach to the problems we face with reporting and royalty accounting from digital services,” stated Laurent Hubert, EVP, COO – North America of BMG Chrysalis. “As we continue building our first-class repertoire, the PDX Service will help us manage our data and collect on cloud and other digital music royalties.”

“Early in our discussions, BMG Chrysalis recognized the value of the PDX Service,” said Keith Bernstein, Crunch Digital’s CEO. “With their rapid expansion, it makes it easier for them to use PDX as a controlled metadata delivery tool for digital services and provides transparency into exploitation of their catalog.”
